It is used to increase the growth of nails and protect them from contamination, by cutting garlic cloves into halves and rubbing the nails in them, and then washing them after several minutes, 

Or, by grinding a few cloves of garlic together to obtain a paste, apply the dough on the nails for 5 minutes before washing them, and repeat the method for a week to obtain satisfactory results.

Lemon juice and sea salt

One of the recipes that help to lengthen and strengthen nails is to mix a tablespoon of lemon juice with a tablespoon of sea salt and add a pint of warm water.
